As of June 1, 2005, CEIF is no longer accepting requests for feasibility studies and start-up operating grants for Nativity/Miguel or Cristo Rey schools. The foundation is devoting its resources to programs sponsored by the NativityMiguel Network, and the Cristo Rey Network. Since 2000 CEIF has supported 58 Nativity/Miguel initiatives, with a total commitment of $9.6 million, and has gifted $12 million towards the creation of the Cristo Rey schools. CEIF has been pleased to play a role in the creation of the Nativity/Miguel and Cristo Rey schools. We urge other foundations and philanthropists to join the movement.
